Date details +

In celebration of Shambhala Day and the Lunar New Year, one of Shambhala's most important holidays, the Kongma Sakyong is opening a Shambhala Sadhana practice to everyone.

The Shambhala Sadhana is a chant practice celebrating our own basic goodness, the goodness of others and the inherent goodness of society. It runs about one hour and is normally only practiced by those who have attended Enlightened Society Assembly and received formal transmission. On this Shambhala day, the Sakyong is invited everyone to participant.

if you have recieved the text, please bring it with you, along with your mala. Copies of the sadhana will be available for those who do not have it.

The program is free. On Shambhala Day, everyone is encouraged to make a unified donation to Shambhala Fredericton and Shambhala Canada, representing the Sakyong and the centre of the Shambhala mandala.

We will gather at 1:45pm and begin the Sadhana just after 2pm.
