Finances should not be a barrier to the practice of meditation or receiving the Shambhala teachings at the Fredericton Shambhala Centre. The Centre is sustained by the generous donations from our members and friends along with income from programs. Some will practice generosity by offering more than the normal fee, to ensure others can participate regardless of their ability to pay. We encourage you to pay what you are able at the time.
Our generosity policy:
We invite you contemplate what is the most generous offering you can make at this time. If you would like to use the Generosity Policy, we would ask that you do so prior to the start of the program by contacting the program coordinator. Your financial situation should never be a barrier to participation. We invite everyone to engage with the practice of generosity by asking, “How much am I able to give?” Sometimes we can be more generous than other times, and that is perfectly normal. Sometimes we can stretch and sometimes we cannot. By offering your generosity in whatever measure you can at this time, you join us in offering the Shambhala teachings to the world.
